HISTORY
Heat Transfer Systems, Inc. was formed in 1983 by J.W. McKinnie. With a high level of expertise and a focus on complete customer satisfaction, Heat Transfer Systems, Inc. built strong and lasting relationships with engineers and mechanical contractors around Georgia and North Florida.
After 30 successful years in business and ready to retire, 2013 marked a transition in name and ownership. Heat Transfer Systems, Inc became Heat Transfer Systems of Georgia, LLC and Dan Kelly and Jack Easter hold true to the same values that made Heat Transfer Systems successful, being a valued resource and partner to our customers.

Dan Kelly
Principal/New Equipment Sales Manager
With experience in industrial process and almost 13 years with Evapco as National Sales Manager, Dan Kelly took the opportunity to grow Heat Transfer Systems of Georgia to the next level. With a both a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from University at Buffalo, Dan has 30 years of experience in commercial HVAC design and installation.
Jack Easter
Partner/Aftermarket Sales Manager
Graduating from Texas A&M with a BS in Industrial Distribution, Jack worked in the material handling and home building industries before joining Heat Transfer Systems, Inc in 2008. Tasked with providing Heat Transfer customers with high quality and reliable aftermarket service for their evaporative cooling equipment. Starting with a few dedicated field techs and focusing on product expertise and customer satisfaction, Heat Transfer Systems Service has become a “Go To” source for servicing and rebuilding cooling towers and heat exchangers in the state of Georgia.
Matthew Gregory
Partner/Sales Engineer
Matthew Gregory commenced his career in commercial HVAC in 2002, following his graduation from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Over the course of his career, he has held various positions in consulting, service sales, operations, and new equipment sales. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Gregory earned a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University and has obtained several esteemed credentials, including a Professional Engineering License, a Certified Energy Manager Certificate, and LEED Accreditation. Since joining Heat Transfer Systems of Georgia in 2020, he has concentrated on expanding sales across all lines of business within the Georgia market.
